Socialism Tested

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. 

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.. 

The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that. 

Remember, there IS a test coming up. The 2012 elections.

Crisis List

Iranian Missile Bases in Venezuela

Iran is building intermediate-range missile launch pads on the Paraguaná Peninsula, and engineers from a construction firm – Khatam al-Anbia – owned by the Revolutionary Guards visited Paraguaná in February.

 U.S. scraps missile defense shield plans

The US missile defense complex in Poland, also called the European Interceptor Site (EIS) was part of the Ballistic Missile Defense European Capability of the US.  The system was intended to intercept missiles from Iran.  Russian Leader Putin had a fit about it and threatened another cold war if construction was not halted immediately.  Obama obeyed Putin and drastically  altered the program to the point it might as well not even be there. Meanwhile, Iran builds missile bases in Venezuela. (see above)  

There are those who believe Iran when they say they are not building missiles so there is no need to worry about Europe, because Ahmadinejad and Putin are such stand up guys--- they would never LIE about such intentions!  Would they?  They say they just want nuclear POWER Plants.  They care so much about the environment after all.  Those missile bases in Venezuela have no connection to Iran or Russia.  Russia is our friend, right? (sarcasm) Never mind that Putin has agreed to help Chavez with his nuclear technology.  Never mind that Russia has been providing nuclear assistance to Iran for years.  There can't be any connection between Russia and Iran and even if there is, it certainly couldn't lead to another Cuban-type Missile Crisis with Venezuela.  So of course Obama would think it was best in the interests of peace to just scrap any kind of defense system for Europe OR for the United States.  And the moon really is made of green cheese. . .but we'll never know that for sure now either, because NASA's space program has been neutralized and if we ever do need to go to up there for anything, such as to perform maintenance on whatever defense system might be up there, we have to ask RUSSIA for a ride.  Isn't that handy?

Fast and Furious Scandal -- 

The U.S. government intentionally sells assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels using unwitting and now confused American shop owners as the front men.  The government just lets them walk right over the border without so much as a parking ticket Those cartels use those weapons to kill, among others, a U.S. law enforcement officers. The White House deflects questions on the subject, refuses to cooperate in the investigation and intimidates witnesses. The director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), who watched the gun sales on video in his office, stonewalls Congress. So does the Justice Department. Under the Direct Commercial Sales program, the U.S. State Department regulates and licenses businesses to sell weapons and defense services and training for export. Last year, according to U.S. statistics, the program was used to provide Mexico $416.5 million worth of weapons and equipment, including military-grade weaponry.
The program is different from the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, which operates on a government-to-government basis.
Plumlee said military-grade weapons were found in a Juárez warehouse two years ago, and some of them were moved later to a ranch elsewhere in Juárez. Arms stash houses have also been reported in places across the border from Columbus and Antelope Wells, N.M.
"They've found anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era," Plumlee said. Other weapons found include grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor. El Paso Times

Obama's National Security Director for North America Kevin O’Reilly, knew about operation Fast and Furious as early as September 2010, but for some reason seems unwilling to testify before the investigating committee. Conversely, those who "share responsibility for mistakes that were made,” as ATF supervisor William G. McMahon said in testimony to the Oversight committee, got promoted for taking one for the team.

Issa, head of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee,  noted that there has been “political interference at the highest level” throughout the Oversight committee’s Fast and Furious investigation.

It really makes a person quake in their boots when they hear that certain Muslim terrorist organizations are training just south of the border, being trained to pass for Mexican illegals because even terrorists know that nothing happens to illegals when they break the law.

So what are the Cartels doing with these weapons? Of course some are being used to protect their drug trade from legitimate law enforcement in Mexico but is it possible they are selling them to the terrorist training camps?  Merely harmless training aids, right.  I'm sure the terrorists would pay good money for them.  The question is,  "Was it really poor management on Holder and Obama's part, or was it a deliberate attempt to arm enemies of the United States?"  What is known for sure is that  hundreds of guns are now being used to commit crimes against not only border agents, but Mexican and American civilians as well. 

The Bin Laden Raid

Assuming the intelligence was correct that it even WAS OBL, why were  the seals  illegally sent into the country of an ally without their knowledge or permission? You would think if they were using a helicopter  with Top Secret Stealth technology  to get there, that there would have been some standing order to destroy the helicopter if they had to leave it behind.  You know, so there wouldn't be any chance that the Taliban would sell the technology, or at least parts of it to say --- CHINA?  I'm sure the Navy Seals thought of this but I would bet good money that they were specifically ordered NOT to destroy that helicopter.   And sure enough Pakistan was pleased and delighted to share that technology with China.

And THEN!

A senior Afghan government official told AFP on condition of anonymity that Taliban commander Qari Tahir lured US forces to the scene by tipping them off that a Taliban meeting was taking place.

He also said four Pakistanis helped Tahir carry out the strike.

"Now it's confirmed that the helicopter was shot down and it was a trap that was set by a Taliban commander," said the official, citing intelligence gathered from the area.

"The Taliban knew which route the helicopter would take," he continued.

"That's the only route, so they took position on the either side of the valley on mountains and as the helicopter approached, they attacked it with rockets and other modern weapons. It was brought down by multiple shots."

What makes this even more interesting is the issue of protocol.  Why were so many Navy Seals in one helicopter?  And why were they flying in one of the military's slowest and most cumbersome helicopters?  It costs millions of dollars to train Navy Seals and putting so many on one aircraft flying into hostile territory simply risks too many valuable assets.

Who told the Taliban they were coming?  Who told the Taliban where they'd be?  How did the Taliban know that the same team which conducted the raid would be on that helicopter?  Secretary Gates warned Obama, who was out there strutting around and taking all the credit for the demise of the alleged OBL and throwing out the names of the seals and all kinds of information about the Seal Team, that it would make them targets for retaliation and greatly decrease their overall safety.  Was this the cost of Obama's over zealous political ambitions?  Get OBL, secure some sorely needed political points, then in order to avoid conflict with an offended  Pakistan because protocols were breached--- he had to give them their pound of flesh in order to prevent a full blown international incident.  As is typical of Obama, it was some one else's "flesh" that was on the line.

So to summarize, we have a president who blithely disarms defenses that have taken decades to put in place, he ignores possible military build ups that could pose a threat to the American people and then allows free access to American weapons to hostile forces and known enemies.  And the Media defends him by claiming he is not involved or doesn't know.  To that I reply, "Are you kidding me?  Is that the best you can do?"  So their best defense is "the President is naive and ignorant"  I'm sure we'll all sleep better tonight knowing that.

Tea Party - Info

I am really getting sick of people not understanding how or why the Tea Party got started.  And they don't seem to understand what it really is, either.  The media has lied and twisted it into an entity so far removed from the reality of it, that some people think it's just another Political Party, like the DNC or the GOP.

The origin of the “Tea Party” is based on an event  that  happened on December 16, 1773, after officials in Boston refused to return three shiploads of taxed tea to Britain. A group of colonists boarded the ships and destroyed the tea by throwing it into Boston Harbor.  This was the original “Boston Tea Party”.
 King George III was placing a tax on everything the colonists needed to get through their every day lives, from tea to thread for sewing to equipment to do their jobs.  The tea was just the last straw.  To make matters worse, they had no one representing their interests or grievances in the Parliament, so they were just at the mercy of the whims of the King.  Three words summed up the anger of the colonists:  Taxation without Representation.


Fast forward - 2007. It gets a little complicated here. Bush was a president; wrongly demonized by our news media. Democrats controlled congress. They raised the minimum wage, which hurt small businesses all over the country. They forced banks to lend money to people who did not qualify financially for loans. If banks rejected them, they were threatened with expensive law suits. Predictably many of these loans defaulted. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were guaranteed by the Federal Government, which then stole taxpayer dollars to pay off the bad loans.  I’m not sure who  is stuck with a bunch of property they can’t do anything with.   Other types of loans were then in trouble as well because the banks were in losing money.  So another government agency gave money to  more BANKS. TARP allowed the United States Department of the Treasury to purchase or insure up to $700 billion of "troubled assets,"

About the same time, the automobile industry, more specifically the unions were also having money troubles. Not only did they require insane wages, they had been “borrowing”  from  pension funds, which were now broke.  And  remember! We were also fighting two wars in Iraq and in Afghanistan.

By the end of 2008, some Americans were beginning to see that all was not well with the economy and they also began to see that politicians were more interested in taking care of themselves than they were the Nation's business.  People began to notice and they wanted some new blood in Washington. That was one of the reasons for the beginning of the new  “Tea Party".  This is an important point for those people who insist that the Tea Party is a racist organization formed solely for the purpose of irritating Obama.

In February 2009 we attended  our first demonstration. They took place all over America. Before the election in November, we had gone to four different demonstrations and even my daughter went  with us to one in Topeka. The first protest there were only a couple hundred people, the next one a few more and then by the third one--- we had a few thousand.  During this time, the mainstream media was doing its best to ignore the demonstrations.  It wasn’t  until candidates for the congressional election 2010  won-- that the media (MSM) began to understand how serious the Tea Party movement was. That’s when propaganda began. They called us racists, said that we are violent, that we are stupid and even called us terrorists and radical Christians. It was all lies. The Tea Party people were always peaceful and respectful.

 Sometimes liberals would come and try to start trouble .  Here is a list of some of the groups that organize to disrupt  peaceful Tea Party gatherings.  Media people from the Huffington Post, Politico and Newsbusters are on this list.

In September of 2009, the Tea Party Supporters descended on the National Mall in Washington DC.  ABC reported that there were 60,000 to 70,000 people.  Compare the next two photographs.

It’s not really very difficult to tell which was larger.  Apart from the Mainstream Media playing down the attendance at the Tea Party event, they played down the entire message which is about unfair taxation of the American people.  Why would people object to that message?

We are not  vulgar or violent.  We want  candidates, who are not corrupt, who are what they say they are and who will actually REPRESENT the people who elect them.   We attempt to remain enthusiastic and positive about our country. Yet the MSM  lies incessantly about us.  It’s totally frustrating.

What  I can‘t figure it out is either the news media doesn‘t understand the message or they are deliberately making it sound like something it is not.
