Some guy at Yahoo news wrote an op-ed about John Kerry "Finding his Calling" and I had to laugh. Do these media people do ANY research beyond their fantasy world? So anyway, just off the top of my head, I was able to put together some reason why John Kerry may actually be in the totally wrong job because he doesn't seem to even know the history or the players in the game.
There’s an old saying: it’s better to keep one’s mouth shut and be thought a fool than to speak and prove it. US Secretary of State John Kerry seems to have a bit of a problem in this regard.
What is remarkable isn’t how Kerry has painted himself into a corner, not just staking his term as secretary of state on making Israel-Palestinian peace, but how he has done so in a matter of weeks.
“If we do not succeed now, we may not get another chance,” Kerry told the
Well, not exactly. The problem is not cynicism but naivete. The cynicism is based on long experience and a careful evaluation of the political, economic, and strategic factors involved. Second, Kerry apparently hasn’t been informed that the last chance was lost 13 years ago at the Camp David meeting in 2000. No amount of wishful thinking will make it otherwise. In fact, neglecting to realize this endangers people. - Read more. . .

"Even with a billion dollar foreign aid deal—including a March 5 $250-million gift from Obama—in spite of 200 Abrams tanks ready to roll; even with 12 F-16s and the promise of eight more by the end of the year, Egypt’s foreign minister has thrown in the towel. Five other ministers tendered their resignations on Monday." Canadian Free Press
In the meantime, Obama is sending aid to the same Hamas via Egypt, which is an amalgamation of many groups in the area including Sunni, Al Qaeda, Egyptian, Kurdish rebels and Al Nusra. Al Nusra is a particularly nasty bunch of radicals. This article describes the atrocities they commit against the innocent. (Disclaimer: This article says these forces are US funded, but it does not explain how. So I don't know how true THAT part of the story is.) However, many news sources from Itar Tass (Ukrainian), Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Syrian News and Russia Today reported the use of Death Squads by this faction of the Muslim Brotherhood. Remember, our own news media does not/will not/cannot deliver such stories to the American people, which is why I choose to reference these sources.
“Videos posted online by the militant groups showed hundreds of women and children in Tall ‘Aran, lying dead on the ground after their homes and plant fields were bombed.”
UPDATE: The interception of the Panamanian-flagged ship, called the "Klos-C," is not the first time Israel has hooked a deadly Iranian cache at sea. In 2009, Israel found 500 tons of weapons on a cargo ship destined for Hezbollah in Lebanon. In 2002, the seizure of the Gaza-bound Karine-A ship, loaded with Iranian arms for Yasser Arafat, persuaded the Bush Administration that the Palestinian leader was actively abetting terror against Israel.
“Residents said the brutal attack on their homes reminded them of the Kurdish
genocide, called al-Anfal Campaign, committed by slain Iraqi dictator
Saddam Hussein in the late 1980s.”
“Mass killings at the hands of terrorists have been increasing in Syria during the past month.”
“As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the
US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.”
So there are indications that the same people doing the fighting in Egypt, were extending their resources into Syria as well. Bascially, they have been usurping the cause of the students and initiating a conflict of their own in a much more comprehensive and brutal way than any of the original students ever intended.
So then Kerry goes over there to have peace talks and the Syrian delegation walks out. Why? Because he starts out the talks trying to blame the whole conflict on Assad. Naturally, John Kerry is not going to see it as any failing on his part or even Obama. Nevermind that he starts out with a premise that "Assad must step down" if you want peace. Nevermind that Assad was a legally elected leader and that the Muslim Brotherhood brought its "toys" from Egypt (gifts they got from Obama) to facilitate a local protest in the region and turn it into an all out war. All Kerry can come up with is Assad is the bad guy.
Kerry blamed the regime of President Bashar Assad for hindering progress while escalating bloodshed.
"While it stalled in Geneva, the regime intensified its barbaric assault on its civilian population with barrel bombs and starvation," he said. "It has even gone as far as to add some of the opposition delegates at Geneva to a terrorist list and seize their assets. This is reprehensible."

I also want to point out that many of the taxpayer dollars sent to these people were sent at the behest of Barack Obama, using his personal discretionary spending powers and I wish the media people would stop making is sound like this is something the American people wanted. IT'S NOT! It's what OBAMA wanted and I'm sad to say that HIS interests are rarely in union with the interests of the American people.
And our Media supports this by not telling us what happened in the talks and defend the fact that he blew it by offending everyone there. The do not report the extent of Obama's involvement in terrorist activities nor do they report how other nations view the brutality and death squads as an American sanctioned activity because of decisions Obama has made. It's no wonder people who unwisely trust the American media believe that Kerry is a doing a good job. They are still believing that Obama is a good guy!
(CNN) -- Saying that climate change ranks among the world's most serious problems -- such as disease outbreaks, poverty, terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called on all nations to respond to "the greatest challenge of our generation."
Even Newt Gingrich had to weigh in on such an absurd statement, suggesting that Kerry is incompetent and needs to resign
